Mono-black Zombies, led by Ghoulcaller Gisa.

Wretched Ranks is one of the five Foundations Commander Decks - Wizards of the Coast's ready-to-play starter precons for Commander, Magic: The Gathering's most popular multiplayer format, released on 2 October 2026 alongside Reality Fracture. Gisa rapidly builds a Zombie army, and lords such as Cemetery Reaper, Death Baron and Undead Warchief pump the horde until it is big enough to overrun the table.

Why it's a great pick

  • Single-colour (black) deck with one clear plan - an ideal first Commander deck
  • Plays straight out of the box, no deckbuilding needed
  • Pairs with the other four Foundations Commander Decks for an instant five-player game night

What's in the box

  • 1 ready-to-play 100-card Commander deck
  • 1 traditional foil commander with borderless art
  • 10 double-sided token cards
  • 1 deck box
  • 1 strategy guide
  • 1 reference card

Brand new and factory sealed. English language.

My name's Sam and I started MTGPrecons nearly a year ago. I'm still running this store from my spare room, but that means I can get orders packed and shipped within the same day as orders being placed.

As someone who plays a bunch of Magic, I understand what makes a good purchasing experience: secure, fast shipping, and a fair price.
